NANA PRINCE KOFI JOSHUA MORRISON BODUKUMA
Best known for his ingenuity and unapologetic stance for using culture as a positive tool to empower the youth and make them believe in their natural potency, Prince Kofi’s service to communities has compelled many children to believe in their dreams and strive for more. He is undeniably into the filmmaking business, and most of all cherishes creating and sharing interesting stories while encouraging others to tell theirs.
Being the last born of ten siblings growing up together in a palace, was exposed to some cultural and traditional values which he believes can foster family and community building. Prince Kofi a native of Ghana, moved to Los Angeles after completing his advanced education in aviation and working as a Flight Dispatcher, but his love for filmmaking made him start all over again.
Prince Kofi endeavors to use his experience and exposure in the entertainment industry to tell captivating stories, shed light on the plight of less fortunate, and injustices in the world. He recently collaborated with United Nations Population Funds, to produce “WUMAN,” a film he wrote and directed encompassing the issues of Sex Trafficking and Female Genital Mutilation. His WuMan screenplays was Quarter Finalist in the 2017/2018 ScreenCraft worldwide script competition.
Understanding that telling a story is not just an emotional and aesthetic interwoven compilation, but it is indeed a journey that must be completed with a sense of wonder and captivation.
As a content creator, director, producer, writer, and actor, Prince Kofi continues to strive and trailblaze waves in the entertainment and humanitarian sectors. To wit, he has created and directed numerous short films, and web series. His latest debut is Mother-in-Law movie with studded international stars like, Vivica Fox, Patience Ozokwor, Miguel Nunez Jr., George Adjetey Annang, Mercy Macjoe, Ciarra Carter...to name a few.
Film projects created, worked on, and in development include: Mother-in-Law, WuMan, Love City, What Child Is This, The Aborted Assignment, The Royal Assassin, Dream-Naperz, Hollywood Dilemma, and The People’s Dilemma.
