Alain also volunteers as the Pro Bono Executive Director of African Challenges, a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve as a cross-cultural pathway connecting African Immigrants & Refugees to available resources that addresses their basic and vital needs. As the ED, he is responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. He assures that the organization has a long-range strategy which achieves its mission, and toward which it makes consistent and timely progress. He also provides leadership in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies authorized by the board.
