Mr. Rodrigue Yonga is an educator at heart and a dedicated community leader in Los Angeles. He has served at many high schools across California including Culver City, Stockton, Redondo Beach, and Azusa over the course of the last two decades. He holds a master's degree from National University in Los Angeles and an Education Specialist Degree in International Education from Northcentral University.
He currently officiates as Chairman of the California Bamileke Association after leading the same Nonprofit Organization as president from 2018 to 2022. He is also a Founding Member of the All Bamileke Convention of North America.
He was the chairman of the 3rd convention of ABC-North America that took place recently in Beverly Hills, with over 1500 attendees from across the globe.
Among many other projects he has carried out, the accomplishment he is most proud of is the tuition assistance he helped provide to 10 internally displaced students of the University of Buea in Cameroon during his tenure as CALBA president. Those students were able to attend university and graduate worry-free.
Mr. Yonga sits on the board of many community and professional organizations around Los Angeles and within the United States.
