Originally from Guinea and resides in San Diego, California. Former president; of Guineans in southern California.

Leaders always focus on the needs of the organization and the situation. Leaders focus on results, on what must be achieved by themselves, by others, and by the company. Great leaders focus on strengths, in them and in others. My ability as a leader to call the shots and make sure that everyone is focused and concentrated on the most valuable use of their time is essential to the excellent performance of the organization.

As an entrepreneur and leader, Mamady has created a platform for the people of his community to come together and exchange ideas through the creation of a cross-community soccer team whereby the residents of California could play games with Guineans of other states.

While organizing activities to raise funds to help build the community through parties, soccer tournaments and cross-organizational assistance, Mamady goes home to Africa every year to help strengthen the support system of the impoverished and less privileged. He finds joy in mediating for community building. it is an honor to be nominated for the African Community Achievement Award.
