ATANGCHO TEDDY NDIYOB
The unfairness of death is most poignant when a talented person's life comes to a stop before he receives his just rewards in life. Death's irrevocable intervention in such cases has created the rationale for this posthumous award which at this time is considered a great way to honor the passing of a community servant whose qualities as a person remain unarguably valiant and gallantry.
This wonderful community leader was born to Gabriel and Justina Neh Ndiyob in Bafut, Cameroon. He attended St. Joseph’s Primary school Mambu Bafut and after that, he went to Sacred Heart College, Mankong Bamenda from 1967 to 1972. After graduating from CCAST Bambili he went to Yaounde in 1974.
Atangcho Migrated to Los Angeles, California in 1981 and studied Business Administration at California State University, Dominguez Hills where he earned his MBA.
Atangcho worked as a health care administrator for over 20 years. During his free time, he was often involved in many philanthropic projects. He was an ardent leader in the Cameroonian Community in Los Angeles. He was very involved in the Bafut community and Bafut Culture. Atangcho was a board member of You Can Health Services. He was the pioneer chairman of AFRIFAMUACAA, The African Community Achievement Award.
He contributed so much to the growth of our organization that we see his death as a great loss to the Cameroonian community in Los Angeles and The AFRIFAMUACAA team.
It is with sadness that we celebrate his departure and at the same great joy to have had such a humble personality to lead our team for three years.
We are proud to be honoring him with an HONORARY CHAIRMAN OF COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD.
