Chinyere is a UCLA graduate, who played professional basketball at the elite level gaining 3 medals. Chinyere has been named the New Face of Africa which granted her a position as a Young African Leader in Washington, DC where she received recognition from the First Lady Michelle Obama. As a designer, she has been featured in Vanity Fair and 3 other international magazines. Her mission is to always give back to charities through her art & talent while highlighting and embracing her African culture. Last year she was granted her own day in the city of Los Angeles and Hawthorne where she was recognized for all of the work she does in the community and in Africa. She strives to continue to use her platform to spread love and to continue to create opportunities for others while highlighting her African roots and culture. Chinyere is the CEO of House of Yere a non profit organization which serves the youth and community by promoting financial literacy, and self love. She is also the founder of Yere Collection. A fashion line geared to align African sophistication with contemporary modern chic styles. Chinyere feels that is the perfect representation of herself because she is a Los Angeles Native who is Nigerian.
